Russians will be able to learn all news and rumors of their district, yard, and entrance, without standing up from the sofa. Federal authorities have recently published a report on the progress of efforts of Electronic Russia target program.
Today electronic engineers are working to implement the project that would enable all municipal mass media, without exceptions (even those with the smallest circulation), to create their own website, as the Department for Government Information informed VM.
Taking into account particular features of this way of communication with readership, namely, that the scope of information is not limited to a certain number of pages, much more news will be offered to Russians that the main printed edition is able – citizens will be informed on all more or less significant events that took place in their district, and also forecasts for the future. The plan is to widely use in the regions in a couple years.
Comprehensive computer-based databases on local residents will be created in municipal authorities at the same time. These will include individual peculiarities of everybody: financial status, number of legally capable relatives, chronic diseases, etc.
Relying on this detailed register, the appropriate authorities will be able to arrange for more efficient target social support of people, their medical services and at-home education. In the future, the idea is that officials will finally start to communicate with population by e-mail.
